Events Code Of Conduct
Date of Last Revision: September 24th, 2019
Dataiku is dedicated to providing a harassment free and inclusive event experience in order for all participants to enjoy a safe and positive experience. All attendees, speakers, sponsors, vendors, partners and volunteers agree to follow this Code of Conduct and any applicable local laws when attending any Dataiku event.
We take violations of this policy seriously and we do not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form, including, but not limited to, harassment based on gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, religion or any other status protected by laws where the event is held. Harassment includes the use of abusive, offensive or degrading language, intimidation, stalking, harassing photography or recording, inappropriate physical contact, sexual imagery and unwelcome sexual advances or requests.
Treat each other well. Every participant has a right to enjoy their experience without fear of harassment or discrimination.
When attending any Dataiku event:
- Treat everyone with respect;
- Be considerate and collaborative;
- Act in a fair and responsible way;
- Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory or harassing behavior and speech;
- If alcohol is available, drink responsibly and safely without compromising your duty to act in a professional manner;
- Be mindful of your surroundings and of your fellow participants.
Consequences Of Unacceptable Behavior
Participants asked to stop any harassing or otherwise unacceptable behavior are expected to comply immediately. Dataiku may take actions deemed necessary and appropriate, including but not limited to, immediate removal from the event without warning or refund, and the right to prohibit attendance at future Dataiku or Dataiku sponsored events.
Reporting Unacceptable Behavior
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please seek out a Dataiku staff member. You may also report any unacceptable behavior by emailing Carole Offredo, Chief Marketing Officer, [email protected].
You are also encouraged to contact law enforcement or activate a local fire alarm in the event of a crime or behavior that constitutes an immediate or serious threat to public safety. Please keep yourself safe and follow the directions of facility personnel, public safety personnel, or Dataiku staff members.
Please note that photographs and videos may be taken during Dataiku events. These may be used by the Dataiku for marketing or publicity in our publications, on our website and in social media or third party publications. Please contact us if you have any concerns or if you would rather not be photographed or filmed.
