Banking and Big Data - Join our First Meetup in London!

Business|Events|Technology| September 12, 2016| Romain Doutriaux

We are proud to announce the launch of our first meet-up in London! This meet-up is just the first step in our evil plan to gather and unite all data-lovers in Albion.

This first meet-up will be about predictive analytics applications in the banking sector! Join us on September 21st to get actionable feedback and real use cases from data experts: Alexandre Hubert, Data Scientist at Dataiku, will be speaking about landing delinquency predictions. Moreover, a second speaker, Liam Collins-McIntyre, S2DS Fellow will show how predictive models can be built in the insurance market, using a project delivered for Close Brothers.

As always at our meet-ups, after a great talk you'll have the opportunity to get hands-on with Dataiku DSS and start working on your own project, with a little help from our team of great data scientists and awesome business developers.

So bring your computers along to get to work in R, SQL, Python or with the visual accelerators! Because you don't have to be a data science expert to participate. Even a beginner can build a project in Dataiku DSS (check out this blogpost on the Titanic Kaggle competition), and gain new skills fast!

We're lucky to co-organize this event with Pivigo, and to be hosted by our friends at Microsoft, in London. We'll be waiting for you at 5:30 PM!

Expect food, drinks, goodies, and a great team to discuss your vision of data science today ;)

If you can't make it this time, be sure to join our meet-up group to be informed of the next Dataiku meet-Up, and don't hesitate to get in touch with our London office to schedule a personalized demo!

Last but not least, don't forget to download and try out Dataiku's free edition of Dataiku DSS before the event!
