Pierre will talk about how to model churn in modern companies. Churn rate is a measure of client retention and is closely related to customer lifetime value.
Being able to predict churn helps companies improve their customer retention. Pierre will focus on how to properly define churn (this is not always trivial), what features to generate and how the prediction would work in a production environment. Most of the examples and data will be taken from eBusiness companies though a similar logic applies for any business.
