Dataiku is proud to participate at the next Data Science Academy's workshop in New York. Join us on Thursday, August 13th, at the "NYC Data Science Academy", from 6:30 to 8:30 PM (New York).

Dataiku is proud to participate at the next workshop on analyzing Medicare data with PostgreSQL and Python, organised by the NYC Data Science Academy.

One of our most skilled data scientist, Pierre Gutierrez, will be speaking with many passionate PostgreSQL and Python addicts.

Here goes a little heads up for the evening’s program:

  • Pierre will speak about the Medicare open data and its potential applications. In particular, he will have a look at outliers and fraud as well as the impact of companies' payments on doctor prescriptions. The whole data wrangling and modeling will be done using SQL and Python. Pierre already has consistent experience in several topics such as fraud detection, predictive maintenance and smart cities.

  • It is highly recommended to have a very basic understanding of SQL and Python or R in order to take part of this workshop. In this case, The NYC Data Science Academy is a perfect opportunity to discover how to improve your knowledge on these open-source technologies with experts!
