Dataiku won the Pulse Contest, the largest startup competition ever held in Europe, in the Big Data category. The award ceremony took place in Lyon (France) on June 10, 2014.
The Pulse Contest is a new French competition for startups organized by la Cuisine du Web and Huawei. This competition honors startups in the fields of smart city, big data and connected objects. 300,000 euros in cash will be shared between all winners.
Dataiku was awarded first prize in the Big Data category. This prize honors our Data Science Studio for data analysis in big data environments. Dataiku competed among 200 startups and was elected by a jury of 16 professionals, researchers, investors and members of the French digital ecosystem. Our technology was unanimously recognized for its unique way of combining data management, statistics, visualization and predictive analytics.
Marc Batty, one of the co-funders of Dataiku, received the price in Lyon from Sabrina Chtourou-Zaidi, researcher at ESDES Business School. We are very pleased to receive this prestigious award for our work. This gives us great energy to keep on working hard on our solution.
